Skateboarding
Skateboarding has been a huge part of my life now for three years. I skate every day that i can, but recently it has been raining and the weather has been terrible. Today however, it is supposed to warm up to about 60 degrees, and tomorrow and saturday it is going to be 70 degrees, so it is going to be perfect weather for skating. I have been told that i am one of the best skaters in town. I like that people think that, but i hate it when people ask me if i can do something that this other guy can do, or has already has done. Skateboarding is supposed to be all about having fun and just having a good time, it is not a competition. I mean sure i like it that i am pretty good and i can beat a lot of people in games of S.K.A.T.E and i can do things that not a lot of people can do, but i dont go around braging about it, like some of the peolple in this town do. There is hardly any skateboarders left in this town and most of them are just little annoying kids that dont know how to skate. Now its just me and a few of my friends that are keeping the skateboarding tradition alive in Coshocton.

When "Acceptable" Becomes "Unacceptable"
The growth of online learning has begun to require schools to use more computer usage now because of the technology that is being updated and developed everyday. Foreward educators are now putting new technologies to the service of innovative teaching and learning. Appleton eSchool is a virtual school that depends on the technology and developement of computers and technology itself to run its virtual school. Gaming on computers at this school is not aloud, but a game that could be related to an approved Algebra class could be appropriate for students to play. Websites are checked and then approved beefore students are aloud to use them. This is a very useful method so that students do not get on sites that are inappropriate for school. It is amazing to see that technology has come so far that now there are even virtual schools online for kids to go to. This is very good to see that schools are now able to be taken online, but still there are precautions that need to be taken to make sure that students will be using appropriate websites for their work.

Tampa Pro 2009
Greg Lutzka was this years winner at the 2009 Tampa Pro. This is his third first place victory in Tampa Pro competitons. The line up of all the great skaters was amazing. There were amazing pro's from Keegan Sauder, and Pete Eldridge, to Nick Dompierre, and Paul Rodriguez. Greg Lutzka is known for his 360's down stair sets, and big gaps, and also his 270 variations in and out of grinds and slides, which deffinately give him an advantage in competitions. There were even a few wild cards that were thrown into the competition, but in the end the judges ended up picking Lutzka as the winner and it was flawless runs and technical tricks that won him the competition. http://skateboarding.transworld.net

Man returns to war after violating sanctions
A Coshocton man failed to follow guidelines imposed by the Coshocton County Common Pleas Court and now will be sent to prison, and he already had two years of community control sanctions competed too. Brian Foster was sentenced to nine months in prison by judge Richard Evans. In August 2006 Brian Foster was indicted on theft charges and was convicted in March 2007, he was sentenced to 120 days in jail and was also sentenced to three years of community service. I think that these are some pretty easy punishments for the crime that he did, but then he went off and had a misdomeaner and was caught using crack-cocaine so the nine months in prison is still an easy puishment for his crime. www.coshoctontribune.com

Skate season
Skateboarding season is coming up even though there is no specific season for skateboarding because everyone does it all year round, but now it is the begining of March and it should start to get warm soon and then more people will be out skating again. I personally skate all year round in any kind of temperature, as a matter of fact i was skating last night in the 10 degree weather for an hour. It is because i am really commited to skateboarding and not a lot of people will skate in the cold weather but i will just because i love the sport. When it gets warmer out i will be out everyday all day skating with my friends.
